NASA Mathematician Katherine Johnson

From a young age, Katherine Johnson loved numbers. Though many African American girls only went to elementary school, Johnson continued on through college. She became a teacher and then a mathematician for NASA. Always curious, she asked questions and worked hard to find their answers. This inspiring figure in the history of STEM eventually worked on the mission to send a man to the moon.
