Cristiano Ronaldo has won soccer's coveted Ballon d'Or five times, as well as more than thirty trophies and many other awards. He's also the top goal scorer in history. Many would argue that he's the best soccer player of all time. Ronaldo was born in 1985 on the island of Madeira, near Portugal. He and his friends played soccer on the street because they didn't have a local field. As a child, Ronaldo had notable talent, even though he hated losing so much that he earned the nickname crybaby.
